We are looking for designers and illustrators to create new invitations for a wide variety of occasions.  Our immediate needs are for designs centered around weddings, wedding and baby showers, save the date cards, party invitations, graduation announcements and moving announcements.

All designs are used on a royalty basis only.  What that means is that the designers are paid top of the line royalty fee rates on all cards sold.

Christmas Cards for a Cure is raising money from the sale of Christmas cards to support the research efforts at the Roger Maries Cancer Center.  The website is www.astonishingcards.com/cure2007 and is a create, print and mail greeting card website.  For every card sold from Nov.7 - Dec. 31, 2007, 10% of proceeds from all cards sold (not just Christmas Cards) will be donated to the Cancer Center.

Astonishingcards.com is one of only a few websites in the world where the customer can fully customize their printed greeting cards.  You can personalize your save the date cards, holiday photo cards, birthday cards, invitations and even corporate holiday cards and business Christmas cards.  All cards are actually printed cards and are either shipped back to the customer or mailed via the US Postal service.

Sometimes it takes a personal tragedy to wake a person up.  Our son has cancer.  Oh, he is doing very well at the moment and he feels fine, but pancreatic cancer is a tough one to overcome.

Over the next several weeks I will tell you more about Christmas Cards for a Cure, but the short story is that we want to do something that helps fund cancer research to find a cure or at least find ways to make the patients more comfortable while going through cancer treatment.  Thus was born our attempt to help fund those functions in the best way we know how.  My wife and I are the owners of Astonishingcards and decided that we would give 10% of all card revenues from www.astonishingcards.com/cure2007.  The donation period will be from Nov. 7 through Dec. 31, 2007.
